THE GHOST TOWN (1.2) by EMMANUEL SHADRACH

They heard footsteps coming closer from the darkness, and they cowered in fear. Suddenly, the ghostly figure of the woman appeared in front of them and screamed an ear-piercing shriek. They covered their ears, but the scream seemed to pierce through their souls. The woman's eyes were black pits of fear that seemed to look into their very souls. Jenny and her friends were paralyzed with terror, as the woman reached out her cold, dead hand to touch them. The old mansion was no longer a source of mystery and wonder but a place of horror and dread. They never spoke about their terrifying experience again, but they knew that their lives had been forever changed by the horrors they had encountered inside that old house.
