Senegal has cancelled a $757 million 32-year water desalination deal with a Saudi company,
The Government pointed out that the cost could increase over the coming years, and that they would have to pay $33 million yearly for the project which hasn't been started yet.

The contract was awarded by former President Macky Sall.
