In 2015, a 25-year-old man in India died after being electrocuted while trying to take a selfie on top of a train. The incident occurred at a railway station in the city of Mathura, in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, the man, identified as Sagar Gupta, had climbed onto the roof of a stationary train to take a selfie. As he was posing for the photo, he came into contact with a live electrical wire, which electrocuted him.
Gupta was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The incident sparked widespread concern and outrage, with many criticizing the young man's reckless behavior.
